I live with my fiancé, Roland, we just recently moved into a new town house and I've tried being very "Pinterest-y" about decorating... It's not going so well. We've been together for almost 2 years and are slowly but surely working on getting this wedding planned. We also have a dog, Toby. He's the cutest thing, but he's a handful..

That's Roland, Toby doesn't stay still for pictures very well, but I'll get him one of these days.

Roland is the reason I'm doing this blog, I've always had a passion for reading and writing (and grammar), but he's the one that pushed me to put it out there for other people to read.

I adore my parents, I've reached the age everyone warns you about, the age where your parents become your best friends. It's true, it happens. My mom is also a book-a-holic, so that's where I get it from. Everyday Roland tells me something I do is exactly what my mom would do, and I couldn't be more thankful for that (and he couldn't be more lucky). So, there you have it. I'm a book loving, family oriented, fur baby lover. And a firm believer in the Serial Comma rule. Because I don't like orange juice on my toast (eggs, toast and orange juice).
